Dim Sum Palace Opens 8th Location in FiDi with Traditional Chinese Ceremony

In August 2023, Dim Sum Palace had a grand opening ceremony celebrating their 8th location in FiDi. The party was complete with a ribbon cutting ceremony, drum performance and dragon dance. The street was shut down so locals could take in the entertainment.

Inside the tradition continued with a pig roast setup in front. The restaurant is set up on one side for fast-casual with Dim Sum Sam, which serves dim sum and Hong Kong BBQ, and the Dim Sum Palace provide a more upscale experience on the other side, complete with live seafood tank, fine wine, and elevated Chinese Fusion featuring truffle and caviar infused dishes. Inside there was plenty of seating and private rooms with lazy Susans that made it easy for sharing. It’s great for parties and intimate dinners.

The restaurant chain prides itself in providing an authentic Cantonese dim sum experience. The food definitely spoke to that. Some favorites that we samples included lobster and crab dishes, egg rolls, steamed shrimp dim sum and our favorite, not pictured, was the honey walnut shrimp, a signature dish of Dim Sum Palace. The combination was not something we would’ve selected on our own but the flavors really worked together!
