Brooklyn Kura will be hosting a cozy Valentine’s Day themed popup featuring Haitian dishes from Chopped veteran Chef Deborah L. Jean on Friday, February 14th at 6:00pm. Sake Studies Center

The Sake Studies Center’s Sake & Dessert Pairing Experience is the perfect interactive Valentine’s Day activity for couples or groups of friends. This hour and a half course begins at 6:00pm on February 14th. Guests will sample five craft sakes from around the world, paired expertly with five different desserts, all while learning how sake is made. The Residence of Mr. Moto

For a unique and fun Valentine’s Day experience, celebrating at NYC’s first kaisen-don concept offers an immersive experience of Japanese cuisine. This newly opened 52-seat space exudes warmth and tradition. Share luxurious dishes like the Signature Bowl (tuna tartare, scallops, surf clam, yuzu tobiko, cucumber), the spicy Aka Bowl (salmon, tuna tartare and yuzu tobiko) or the delicate Shiro Bowl (refined amberjack, sea bream sashimi with daikon pickles). The farm-to-table, American restaurant from Award-Winning Chef/Owner John Doherty and Executive Chef Brian Fowler are teaming up to curate a special a la carte menu or four-course pre-fixe for Valentine’s Day available on both Friday, February 14th and on the 15th. The a la carte menu features the venue’s favorite dishes from its fall/winter menu including Market Carrots & Kale Salad, Olive Oil Braised Octopus, Roasted Bone Marrow with Manilla clams in a shallot reduction topped with lemon-herb crumbs, its crowd favorite Butternut Squash Ravioli, Herb Crusted Black Cod to name a few. The Pre-fixe priced at $175/per adult with an optional $215/pp wine pairing, the meal starts with either your voice of either A Symponie of Caviar (A caviar tasting featuring Sevruga with vichyssoise, Osetra on a Deviled Egg and Potato Chips, Trout on smoked salmon rillete with chilled lemon Vodka) or Wild Mushroom Toast (robiola, taleggio, parmesan, watercress). For the second course, diners will have the option of either the Sweet Potato Salad with Lentils, Labneh, Grapes, Crispy Chickpeas, Hen of The Woods with Herbed Vinaigrette or Foie Gras Torchon with Poached Pear Gelle. For the main courses, the options are either Long Island Black Bass “A La Nage” with Lobster Dumpling, snap peas, zucchini, scallions with garlic crumbs or Filet Mignon with Fondant Potato and broccolini. The Upper West Side’s intimate speakeasy dinner theater from Lady Gaga’s father Joe Germanotta is hosting two special Valetine’s Day themed events. On Wednesday, February 12th Drag Me to Joanne’s presents Love For Sale, a Valentine’s Day iteration of its smash drag & dinner show hosted and Produced by Jupiter Genesis, the Founder of Drag me to Joanne’s alongside Nick Gaga.
