The South Street Seaport is one of Manhattan’s hidden gems, a place where you can easily escape the big city for a chic beach town. One of the best spots to capture that vibe is Cobble Fish on Pier 16, an outdoor restaurant on the waterfront where you can lounge in the sun and watch the boats cruise by.

To celebrate the summer season, Cobble Fish threw a party on Wednesday with delicious seafood, free-flowing drinks, and good tunes played by DJ LX Fed. In between bites of perfectly fried shrimp and baja fish tacos, guests cooled down with a frozen margarita or an original summery cocktail like the Pier Painkiller (Malibu rum, coconut, and pineapple) or the Fish Lips (Maker’s Mark, elderflower, lemon).

But almost everyone had to grab a lobster roll, which featured fresh, tender lobster and a super buttery bun. Another highlight of the evening was the Big Dog, a foot-long hotdog wrapped in bacon and topped with mango salsa, mustard, and pico de gallo. Any hot dog lovers should come by Cobble Fish for their July 4th party, where they’ll be serving the Big Dog with a complimentary beer.
