10th Annual Serving Up Smiles
Celebrating a decade of support, the enCourage Kids Foundation 10th Annual Serving Up Smiles event reached new heights this year in New York City. Held at the stunning Current at Chelsea Piers, the event gathered hundreds of guests who came together to raise crucial funds for pediatric programs that bring comfort and hope to hospitalized children nationwide.
The evening, led by ABC Sports Anchor Ryan Field, featured heartfelt moments, including a moving address from enCourage Kids Foundation President & CEO Jean Butler. "Celebrating the joy, hope, and healing that enCourage Kids Foundation brings to pediatric patients is incredibly rewarding," Butler shared. "We’re deeply thankful to our sponsors, chefs, restaurants, and guests whose generosity has enabled us to expand our impact for children in need."

Guests enthusiastically joined in a silent auction, competing for sought-after items and experiences, adding excitement to the evening.
The event also welcomed sports legends such as Super Bowl Champion Marvin Washington, NFL great and commentator Tony Richardson, and Xen Sams, host of iHeart WOR’s A Moment of Xen, who joined guests in dancing to beats spun by DJ Chef. Culinary Chair Chef Glenn Rolnick, Director of Culinary Operations at Carmine’s/Virgil’s BBQ, delighted attendees with his renowned eggplant parmigiana.
Throughout the night, attendees indulged in an array of delicious offerings from top chefs and restaurants, including Artichoke Pizza, Bryant Park Grill, Carmine’s Italian Restaurant, Gotham Burger Social Club, Hunt & Fish Club, Ocean Prime, Sfoglia, and Virgil’s Real BBQ.
