The Glass House 15th Summer Party
The Glass House was thrilled to be back to an in-person Summer Party after a two-year hiatus, and they once again welcomed people to celebrate the 15th Anniversary on site. The Glass House has remained an internationally significant location since it first opened its doors as a public museum in 2007. Their goal is to keep this precious location alive by raising funding to preserve the campus and assets.
This year's event encouraged guests to explore the grounds while enjoying special performances by award-winning tap dancer and choreographer Ayodele Casel and musical stylings by Paul Sevigny. Mickalene Thomas, Glass House Artist of the Year, also debuted an exciting sculptural edition at the event.
Picnicking was encouraged throughout the site, whether on tatami mats on the Pavilion, pillow lounges by Italian textile company Dedar, or reclining on the pristine grass of the Glass House lawn. In between performances, guests enjoyed rosé by The Pale, lawn games, or view our curated auction of over 120 lots of art, design, and luxury experiences, as well as mingle with supporting artists.
During the party, presenting partner Yieldstreet brought frozen treats by People’s Pops. The Yieldstreet Sketch Booth also gifted attendees with their very own custom fashion illustration of themselves by New York based artist, @deannafirst. Each sketch took about 5-7 minutes. Guests were delighted with all the fun activities and everyone had an amazing time at the summer party.
