It’s that time of year again... the Annual Public Art Fund Party is a vibrant celebration of the artists transforming New York City’s public spaces. Join us for the After Party, from 9-11:30pm on Wednesday, April 9th, 2025 at Metropolitan Pavilion!
In addition to decor elements by Paul Anthony Smith, Carmen Winant’s immersive portrait experience will beckon guests to step inside one of her photographic scenes, as it transforms into a collage backdrop throughout the evening. Highlights will also include a silent auction featuring works by 41 leading contemporary artists, and a preview of the Between Tides exhibition (taking place at Rockaway Beach this summer!) with ping pong featuring artist-designed paddles.
Guests will mix and mingle with cocktails from Diageo Brands Ketel One, Zacapa, Tanqueray, Don Julio, and Johnnie Walker, beer from Heineken, and non-alcoholic spirits by Ghia. The After Party will feature DJ sets from MeLo-X and Juliana Huxtable, and interactive dessert.
This one-night-only event supports our mission of presenting free contemporary art across the city’s five boroughs, and also marks the launch of our spring and summer exhibition season, featuring Smith, Torkwase Dyson, Thaddeus Mosley, Monira Al Qadiri and more. Don’t miss an extraordinary night of art, music, and connection!
