In celebration of its 9th annual Global Day of Discovery on May 18, 2023, which marks the one day a year, when all 170+ Renaissance Hotels properties around the world put on elevated experiences, Renaissance New York Chelsea Hotel is inviting guests to enjoy unscripted adventures that place the brand’s revamped Evenings at Renaissance program in the spotlight, encouraging guests to discover local experiences redefining the evening hours. With plans to bring back the historic Antiques Garage market (which was once frequented by the likes of Andy Warhol), and a curated vintage collection with handpicked pieces by cultural curator Lily Aldridge, guests will discover antique treasures and vintage finds during the day, and enjoy speakeasy-inspired cocktails + surprise Evenings performances at the iconic Somewhere Nowhere lounge to top off the night. Through the weekend, locals and guests will also be able to experience the market at the hotel as they kick off a vintage pop-up series this summer.
