The Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation (ADDF) will be hosting their Twelfth Annual Fall Symposium & Luncheon that features their top award recipients in Alzheimer’s prevention and innovation, the Melvin R. Goodes Prize and The Charles Evans Award.
The Symposium will be held virtually on Thursday, October 28 from 10:30 am - 12 pm.
The Melvin R. Goodes Prize for Excellence in Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery will be presented to Miia Kivipelto, MD, PhD., a groundbreaking Finnish neuroscientist who is overseeing the world’s first global initiative for preventing dementia and Alzheimer's disease, the FINGERS study.
The Charles Evans Award for leadership in support of the prevention, treatment and cure of Alzheimer's disease will be presented to Howard Kaneff, Chairman Emeritus, and Mitchell Kaneff, Chairman and CEO, of their family-run business, Arkay Packaging. Arkay is a provider of packaging for the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, and health & beauty industries, including Estee Lauder, for over nine decades.
