The New York Bacon and Beer Classic, which was originally scheduled to take place on April 11th, will now take place on Saturday, September 26th at The Post BK (100 Dobbin Street) just in time for Oktoberfest.

Cannonball Productions is giving bacon and beer lovers something to look forward to by bringing its nationally-touring Bacon and Beer Classic back to Brooklyn this fall.  The Classic offers attendees an all you can eat and drink tasting experience unlike any other. Ticket holders will be able to indulge in some of the city’s most over-the-top, creative and delicious bacon dishes. Over 30 restaurants including Queen’s Bully, Jase’s BBQ, Cuzin’s Duzins, and Sands Jerk Hut will participate and dishes have included everything from a Green Chile Pimento Grilled Cheese loaded with bacon and jalapeno slaw, to Mesquite Chicken and Bacon Fajitas, and mouth-watering Bacon Cinnamon Rolls with Stout icing. Then there’s the beer, cider and even hard seltzers with copious amounts of unique brews from local and regional breweries including Montauk Brewing, KCBC, Brooklyn Brewery and Three 3’s Brewing.

“When I first started Cannonball and the Bacon and Beer Classic, I did it with the idea of creating a local community of foodies. By hosting the ultimate cheat day at epic venues across the nation, we’ve helped form a community who loves to eat, drink, and have a great time,” said Cannonball Productions CEO Kate Levenstien.

There are three ways to experience the Bacon and Beer Classic, with General Admission, Power Hour, or VIP tickets. General Admission tickets begin at $59. There will be two sessions, an afternoon feast from 1pm - 4pm and an evening party from 6pm - 9pm. VIP and Power Hour ticket holders will get to enter the venue an hour early through an expedited line. VIPs will also enjoy access to limited-edition craft beers, a VIP swag bag ($50 value), a specialty cocktail, VIP seating, a delicious bacon grilled cheese, and more. All tickets include a commemorative tasting glass you’ll never want to toss.  Tickets that have already been purchased will automatically be rolled over into the new date, September 26th. Those that keep their ticket will be eligible for some truly awesome perks that far exceed the value of the ticket including an exclusive Bacon and Beer Classic pre-party at one of the participating breweries. Refund inquiries can be directed to hello@cannonballproductions.com and will be honored through March 30th 2020.

The Bacon and Beer Classic gives back to the 501(C)(3) Forage Forward. A portion of proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to this charity, which is focused on sustaining clean water and urban gardening. Cannonball Productions also aims to provide an additional portion of their proceeds to restaurant and brewery worker relief funds.
