【Invisible rules of JAPAN】are the unspoken concepts that Japanese people consider as common sense. On a B4 sketchbook paper, JCAT artists will create illustrations, pictures, collages, and other forms of art based on the theme, which will then be compiled into an art book. Most of these rules are specific to Japanese culture because of Japan’s historical isolation from the world. By viewing the artworks, we hope that everyone learns about the invisible rules in Japan and be comfortable during their stay. We also hope that Japanese people will be able to have more friendly interactions with foreign visitors.
