Description: The YMA Fashion Scholarship Fund, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting education for the fashion arts and business, will host its 81st Annual YMA Fashion Scholarship Fund National Merit Scholarship Awards Dinner on January 9th, 2018 at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square. The Fashion Scholarship Fund brings together accomplished fashion industry veterans who will toast the significant achievements of this year’s honorees, and award scholarships to more than 200 students and eight National Merit Scholar finalists who represent the future of the industry. Over $1.4 million in scholarships will be awarded to scholars from a variety of top programs at universities and colleges nationwide.
Industry Honorees include: Kenneth J. Wyse – PVH Corporation, Katia Beauchamp – Birchbox, and Stephen Sadove – Formerly of Saks, Inc.
All proceeds from the evening will benefit the Fashion Scholarship Fund, which is committed to fostering fashion talent of the future through scholarships, internships, mentorships and career programs.
