2017 Fishermen’s Ball – City on the Water

Honoring Alec Baldwin* for his extraordinary work to close Indian Point and ban fracking in New York

Hosted by Andy Cohen

Featuring a video program by National Geographic filmmaker, Jon Bowermaster

Riverkeeper is shaping a new vision for New York City’s waterways. Our City on the Water must have clean, swimmable waters; rivers teeming with life; and safe drinking water.

From the Hudson River to the Atlantic Ocean, we are gearing up for big opportunities. Together with thousands of local advocates and volunteers we can clean our rivers; transform toxic sites into community assets; and foster on-water recreation.

At the Fishermen’s Ball we will celebrate Riverkeeper’s many successes in New York City and beyond including the landmark agreement to close Indian Point, America’s oldest and most dangerous nuclear plant.
