Additional Festival Highlights Include:

  • THE SECOND CITY: The Second City will come to New York for the first time in partnership with Carolines for the inaugural Pop-Up Training Center.  The center will include a selection of improvisation, writing, and stand-up workshops.  Half-day, full-day, and 4-day workshops will be available for the duration of the festival, along with limited access to Second City’s newest creation, the Harold Ramis Film School. 
  • CONAN: Along with a week of shows from Harlem’s famed Apollo Theater, Team Coco will curate a showcase of up-and-coming talent performing in the biggest comedy stage in the world—New York City.  
  • FULL FRONTAL WITH SAMANTHA BEE: A year after the historic election, Samantha Bee will deliver political satire gold in a new episode of the seven-time Emmy®-nominated show with a special NYCF audience.
  • TBS ORIGINALS: TBS’ stable of critically-acclaimed and popular comedy series’ will be showcased to audiences by featuring exclusive first-looks into the next generation of comedy hits, meet and greets, panel discussions and more. Among the shows highlighted will be Tracy Morgan’s THE LAST O.G., the upcoming seasons of THE DETOUR and SEARCH PARTY, and the upcoming Olan Rogers-created animated series FINAL SPACE. 

This year’s NYCF will showcase the first-ever TBS Comedy HUB with a takeover of the new hotel property PUBLIC.  TBS and the Festival will program various activations throughout the week.

ABOUT THE NEW YORK COMEDY FESTIVAL
Now in its fourteenth year, the New York Comedy Festival is produced by Carolines on Broadway in association with TBS. The festival has featured the country's top comedians, including Aziz Ansari, Judd Apatow, Hannibal Buress, Bill Burr, Louis C.K., Margaret Cho, Billy Crystal, Larry David, Ricky Gervais, Kathy Griffin, Kevin Hart, John Leguizamo, Norm Macdonald, Bill Maher, Tig Notaro, Nick Offerman, Amy Schumer, Sarah Silverman, and Wanda Sykes, to name a few.
